SGIG Patrick C. Worlds, Sr. was born to Ms. Mary Worlds of Crestview, Florida and James O. Jefferson, of Poplarville, Mississippi. He is the oldest of eight 8 siblings (Aroine, Calvin, Crystal, Vincent, James Jr., Dezra, and Ashley). He is married to Mrs. Melanie Worlds and father to two daughters and three sons: PaTrise (Deceased), Michelle, Patrick II, Solomon, and Justyce, respectively. He is a member of Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church, located in Baker, Florida, where he previously served as Bible Study Dean of Instruction. Currently, Illustrious Worlds resides in state of Florida’s capitol, Tallahassee, Florida.

Worlds is a proud graduate of Crestview Senior High School (Crestview, Florida) and the Florida State University where, he earned both a Bachelor and Master degrees in the field of Social Work. He also served in the United States Army and Army Reserve, as a Combat Medic, and Paratrooper.

Illustrious Worlds exited the U. S. Army after a parachuting injury which resulted in the significant failure of both hips, knees and a dislocated shoulder. His duty assignments include tours in Texas, Korea, Colorado, Cuba, two combat tours in Iraq, and a myriad of Temporary Duty (TDY) assignments to include Georgia, North Carolina, and others.

Illustrious Worlds completed stints with the Department of Children & Families as a Case Worker and subsequently as the Treatment Director for a Substance Abuse and Addiction Treatment Center for a 100-bed facility while completing his Psychology Doctorate (PsyD) online.

His Masonic travels began on June 19, 1992 (Juneteenth) at New Light Lodge #242, in Killeen, Texas, where he was raised by one of his mentors, Past Master Keith McMurray. He was exalted a Companion of the Holy Royal Arch Masons in 1993, a Royal & Select Mason and dubbed a Sir Knight in 1996 and created a Noble of the Mystic Shrine in Nubia Temple #191, in 1997. He was advanced to the 32nd degree in 2015 (Walter Gulley Jr. Class of 2015), elevated to the 33rd degree in 2017 (Howard L. Woods Class of 2017), and served the Orient of Florida as its Minister-of-State, Overseer of the Works, and Hospitaler. Additionally, he was coronated a Sovereign Grand Inspector General in 2021, by Sovereign Grand Commander Dr. Corey D. Hawkins, Sr. He currently serves as the Co-Chairman for the Rituals and Ritualistic Matters Committee.

At the request of the Sovereign Grand Commander, Sovereign Grand Inspectors General Marlon S. Honeywell (FL -Dean) Patrick Worlds (FL = Administrator), and Eric F. Konohia (DC-Administrator), brought forth the first education program for the Southern Jurisdiction of the United Supreme Council – the Academy for the Progressive Education and Examination (APEX) of Scottish Rite Masons! Additionally, Worlds has authored numerous articles for the United Supreme Council’s quarterly Bulletin (2016 to current), and a book titled, A Training Program for the Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret. He also provided Scottish Rite lectures for the Alabama, Georgia, West Virginia, and Florida Councils of Deliberation, the United Supreme Council’s Annual Session – Lecture Series (2017 to current), as well as the monthly Deputies Workshop and the Sovereign Grand Commander’s Webinar Series.

He is a Life Member of the Most Excellent Union Grand Chapter of Holy Royal Arch Masons (FL), the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the Florida State University Alumni Association, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated (WYF Beta Omicron-2004), and the Phylaxis Society.

Finally, to conclude lectures, speeches and the like, Worlds has a quote by Louis Pasteur he uses to motivate others, and it reads simply,
“chance favors the prepared mind.”
